Fanuck Posted July 31, 2019 Share Posted July 31, 2019 They bought some UFA years so it cost more in term/dollar but it's a bit of a risk still that he continues to get better and grow into that contract. Avs are in an interesting position as a franchise. Everyone knows they're on the rise - how long can Sakic keep that core together before the inevitable 'cap' comes calling.
