I thought they looked tired tonight. A little bit of jump every now and again but anything that wasn’t out of the d-zone quick the entire unit gassed.

A part of the reason they kept turning the puck over and getting hemmed in the dzone was they still tried to play cute when they shouldn't have.

No-look behind the back passes on pp when they couldn't even string 2 normal tape-to-tape passes together; On those rare occasions when we finally carried the puck into o-zone, casual no-look puck dumping to behind the Sens' net where there's no Canuck anywhere near; Trying to pass the puck through 2-3 Sens players' legs in the neutral zone only to turn it into odd men rushes against us.

They should take a good look at their lineups at this point and realize it's not the last year's playoff team. What they have now is a ragtag group of a few elite players + aging vets + fringe players from their farm team + waiver wire pickups.

Just play simpler north-south game. Get the puck out of dzone, carry the puck over to ozone and give puck support. Put the puck on net and drive to the crease. That's the only chance we got.

It seems obvious that JB needs to sign more mentors or support type player to shelter & mentor our vets - time to trade draft picks and the unproven youths to make room.  Frustrating game to watch; oh well atleast we are still competing for the lottery cup.

JB’s classic accidental rebuild with yet another cap team.

At this point, do not fire Benning!  Hell no...

Instead, let him keep “managing” this rebuild with the most expensive lottery tickets in the history of the league.  Serves Aquaman right.

Maybe JB should get into sales once he does get fired... the guy could sell anything.

Bi-polar type 1, that explains the ten minute rant. But he's got a point, kinda, sorta.

i don't want to get too much into it, just remember what he said about BI-polar. studies now show that major stresses are a big factor in developing this disease and of course others as well.

Why change a winning line up? Put Big Mac back in. These guys need the brawn to slow them down.

Exactly. - bring back that team that defeated Toronto 1st game back .... Michaelis,  Graovac,  Brisebois,  Chatfield   and Motte to replace Roussel  :P

This isn't covid. They had energy throughout the whole game. It's coaching.

Wrong.  They were absolutely gassed and are hitting a wall.  Easy for you to say "this isn't covid".  "This isn't you".

Ian McIntyre is such a downer with his post-game questions.  Points out that Holtby didn't freeze the puck on one of the goals, despite the fact that Holtby was probably the best player on the ice today.

Then asks Green: "Juolevi scored...  would you say that your top players need to be better?"  That's just looking to stir controversy and have a headline the next day that says "Green calls out Miller, Boeser and Horvat"

I went for a super nice walk after the game .... it helps and is highly advisable.  Puts it all in perspective.   I'm still just happy to have hockey back as a year ago everything was uncertain.  Take a deep breath and cheer the boys on.

You suggest we do nothing different after 4 losing years?

we have an improved roster over willie and yet we are worse under Green than we were under Willie .... fact

and Willie sucked

i just want a real coach not an ahl coach
