He might be called up for a game or two in case of injuries and his good play in Abby. My opinion is that in the long run Klimovich would be a replacement for someone like Pearson. Or imagine a line of Horvat/Podkolzin/Klimovich in the future. Or Petterson/Boeser/Klimovich. Assuming both Podz and Klim develop nicely. Höglander Pettersson Boeser Klimovich Horvat Podkolzin Miller Dickinson Garland Put the Swedes and the Russians together. That could be the best top 9 in all of hockey... 1 1

Benning should try and facilitate a trade between the junior teams and get him into the Giants' organization, closer to Vancouver, where he can monitor progress more closely. Might also give Klim the odd opportunity to hang out on an evening with his buddies Podz and Hoagie when both clubs are idle 1

-DLC-
Google translator can be THE WORST! I used to try translating from Turkish to English when I worked in a Turkish owned company. "Dog eat curtain foot jolly" what?

Closer isn’t always better. The Q has a pretty decent track record of producing offensive talent and I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to him going there. (and Ned Stark told Jon Snow to disregard anything that came after "but") ... with Green's penchant for preferring players with a 200' game, and Cull coaching to provide seamless integration from Abby to Vancouver, wouldn't Klim be better developing in that environment rather than growing under a coach over whom we have no say and whose systems may not gel with ours? 2 1

I would say that beyond skill, the other huge issue is language. Let the kid learn English rather than French now and then English later. 1

Popular Post SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Can confirm the above. Klim was drafted as a European prospect. There were some questions re: his status but they were resolved a while back and the CHL-NHL Agreement (age 20 AHL rule) doesn’t apply to him. He’s now a signed property of the Canucks. If he went to the Q, he’d be on a loan. The age 20 AHL rule wouldn’t apply, if he’s sent from Abby to Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL). He could still come back to the AHL as a teenager, and he wouldn’t be locked into two years in the QMJHL. 1 3

R3aL
Really impressed with this kid. and the pick. if he turns out to be a hit and I mean a draft pick that other teams go why didn’t we pick him !? that would be awesome!

I think about 70/30 split on games. 1
