He's like a more physical Bieksa with less offence but more positionally sound. He looked like one of the veterans out there tonight. Im not sold on juulsen. He makss Schenn look like a speed skater. Id rather take another look at Rathbone or Bowey. Also Brock is wondering who wants to trade him now? Guy is gonna earn his full contract this year and sign a long term extension this summer. He is so engaged. His forecheck was insane tonight. He kept winning board battles and continued to come up with the puck. They didn't show a replay unfortunately. For whoever's followed his SHL career, they'll remember his reverse hits and elbows that he can pull out. I think he got a 5 game suspension once for it. Anyways I like that he has edge to his game. He did that in the World Juniors as well in the semi final. Got a game suspension and missed the final. I should've expected more from him in hindsight that he was a part of the Avs organization and even cracked their lineup. I just finished complimenting Juulsen on his first period and then seemingly jinxed him and started seeing him turn pucks over and have trouble with forwards getting in behind him. I actually liked Juulsen in the last game, so I don't mind keeping him out there but I understand the criticism. Agreed on Boeser, him and Pearson were monsters on the boards.
