Instead of continuing to build hype in the crowd, it's thought that the organ causes the energy in the arena to dip. Thoughts? Playing "You're the one that I want" by Olivia Newton John practically on repeat is not how you create a boisterous atmosphere. I feel that high energy should be the aim for the most part and tweeny bopping hits really aren't a great hockey sound. Things like that Hello song and Call Me Maybe. I think whenever they do throwback nights, it would be cool to have only the organ for a night. Would rather they play classical music or even Jazz. Or the Empire Strikes Back... or something that is fun to listen too. U2 was great but it's been done enough. In the right setting, sure...but just not as a hockey DJ.
