It’s crazy to think if we go 5-0 or 4-1 against the upcoming Dallas/Vegas games, and lose perhaps 3 or 4 other games, we make the playoffs..

Our D has been a mess regardless.

 

Love how Schenn has played but I don’t think he gives us that much better of a shot than say Poolman or Burroughs.

That' one thing I never considered. During Benning's regime, they targeted nice players with good character. Nothing wrong with that really, but maybe they need a bit of snarl and attitude, young players willing to do whatever it takes to win. I'm not sure how good Foote is and will be, but he's got size and is a high end prospect, who wants to play. He'd get an opportunity, lots of ice time playing with Quinn fricken Hughes. I think he'd like that.
