Especially when gm's have talked about the professionalism of the players and putting in the work openly. They just played 3 games in 4 nights on the road. My favourite part about the whole sequence is him saying to Cheech exasperated, “and now *wheeze* it’s your *huff* turn *huff* to talk.” I love shorty.

Especially when gm's have talked about the professionalism of the players and putting in the work openly. The boys have travelled all over the US in 4 days and need as much rest as possible. That’s like the Vancouver Giants bussing to PG and back to Kamloops and up to Edmonton and then over to Prince Albert all in 6 days. That’s tough on the body no matter what age or shape you’re in. 1 1

Would hate for one of our key guys to go down with an injury due to fatigue/over use. It's that time of the year that it's a real grind and having a day in between games and travel is likely a good thing. Four games and travel in six days takes a toll. 1 3 3

How many times does he have to do it before people realize he’s a great captain? The way some turned on Bo in here over the past few months has been awful. People talk about “Bubble Demko” but “Bubble Bo” was pretty much as good. And the next time Brucie feels the urge to tout JT’s leadership characteristics, and sort of in a backhanded way diminishing Bo while he does it, he should make time and watch Bo Horvat against St. Louis in those playoffs. 10 goals in 17 playoff games that year. A Beast of a Captain. And now he’s showing signs of ramping up again to that level. I’d pity any team facing Horvat if we do indeed make the playoffs. 4 2 2

He hasn’t been able to adapt and play his game consistently here but that doesn’t mean he won’t. Popular Post Dr. Crossbar
I'm just blown away by how hard this team has worked, bounced back, continues to find ways to win, and is still vying for a wild card spot. It's just a shame we dug such a deep hole early in the season given so much parity in the league. This has been a special, memorable season despite the odds and adversity. So hoping we squeak into the playoffs. Especially for Bruce ... he deserves to be in the Jack Adams race. 4 3

The are basically both captains in there own ways. Bo is a gamer though. Love that man. Lots of junk comments about some of the players this year. Petey too. Like you think he wouldn’t come back or get better? Get out. (Referring to some other posters) It was the same with Quinn Hughes last year. Look at his 2 way play this year. Huge changes. Its this impatient fan base that grinds my gears sometimes. A 21-23 year old is not a 28-29 year old. Anyways kinda shifted from Bo to Petey and Hughes there but you get what I’m saying 2

So, if we want EP to pack on an extra 15lbs of muscles, our young stud needs his rest. 3 1 1

Have you never pushed yourself hard for 4 or 5 days and only a day of absolute relief from mental and physical obligations allows you to reset? You know … a day on the couch after a difficult week, Probably why days like this are optional. No one knows better than the players when they require a day to escape the demands. Reviewing video on the couch maybe. Attending the rink and gearing up is not resting. 1
