I'd rather Calgary win for 2 reasons..

1. Battle of Alberta

2. Seguin and Benn

I want our divisional opponents out  ASAP,  creating maximum panic for these 2 particular regional rivals.

Colorado is coming out of this conference.

Battle of Alberta would be must watch TV

Benn & Seguin are losers

but

My preference for other CDN team’s misery is insurmountable

Tampa, Carolina, Florida, Colorado >>> rest of west so they are unlikely to make it to SCF anyway. This way you can get battle of alberta while scratching that itch for misery.

Only one AB team can get to conf final. So that's good. Between flames and oils, it's a toss for dislike.

Avs are my picks for the West anyway.

I can never cheer for the Flames.. especially with cry baby Gaudreau and cheap &^@# Tkatchuk

Milan Lucic trumps Seguin & Benn in shameful drama & on-ice douchery.

Their dissing of the Sedins on a radio-show bit, was just them piling onto the abuse that the eastern media was still levying during & after the 2011 play-off season. It revealed  some immaturity of character & I suspect they harbour some regret about that still,…like “Juvenile Joe” Thornton does for taunting Hank in a captain’s centre-ice meeting with that ref in San Jose.

Joe lost his captaincy, in part, over that and other foolish things & decisions that put a spotlight on his tainted-brand of locker-room leadership.
