I’ve never seen a clip of it in recent years, but I remember Kevin Bieksa scoring from centre ice on Mike Smith when Smith used to be with Stars. This was probably in 2006 or 2007. Not sure if anyone else remembers.

Good thing Smith has memory problems. He said it's never happened to him before lol

nah, more like an oilers thing. he was pretty sharp against dallas for the entirety of the series. the problems are in his head/with his confidence.

Those are his regular season stats this year no? Because his playoff performance with us was decent at best. He was easily overshadowed by Demko, and even had he been healthy for game 7, he would have sat. Says a lot. Dallas is also very meh offensively

Seems like he's back to letting in soft early goals like in his prime with us.

one could argue it's more difficult to give a great goalie performance when you only face 15-20 (but high danger) shots a game, than getting warmed up and getting comfortably into the zone with 20 "easy" shots in each period

Flames are the more complete team IMO. Only a matter of time before the Oilers defense and goalie start to underperform again.

Oilers likely winning this series probably means no Canadian team wins the cup this season.

Neither of these teams has a chance of beating an actual NHL team in the next round.

TanMan blew coverage on one of the goals last game. Marky needs to make sure he can make a pass or just not play the puck anymore. Our ex-canucks need to clean up their act for the Lames to claim victory tonight.

Or was this just sabotage? I didn't know Benning had it in him.
