Strawbone
I wish him well and hope he gets better, but a guy who's in and out (mostly out) of the lineup like this isn't good for the team. We need a solid, stable D corps that we can count on. Feels like he should maybe hang up the skates at this point and focus on being healthy in his daily life. HorvatToBaertschi
Listen, I respect that you tried TP, but I'm glad these maybes and these 1 game off, 1 game ons are over. Might want to consider retirement.

DrJockitch
Good luck Breezy. Get well soon TP. Life is more important than hockey if it the same issue as last year.
MeanSeanBean
Poor Tucker.. get well big guy, migraines are no joke. They straight up ruin people's life's. They can make it really hard just to get through your day to day life. Almost as hard as it will be for the Canucks to win games in the NHL with this D-core.

ShawnAntoski
They should just put Poolman in LTIR cause it is an issue with his brain; another retirement deal, that didn't help the team - thanks JB and Aquaman. Breezer is just practice fodder and will be "learning" from the press box - that he ain't seeing the ice. Enjoy the field trip Breezer and probably best to do your walks in the downtown area, in the daytime ! Last year, when Boudreau took over from Green, he allowed the players to play to their strength(s): playing offense; and the current staff has been tasked to implement, a defensive structure the players, have no interest in. Imo, let the roster play to their strengths and make this potentially miserable season, an entertaining one to the bottom - for a top 3 pick, in a loaded draft. Right now, it is binary: solidify their spot in NHL Purgatory or build up their prospect pool, with a top 3 pick. Atleast, when the ever rebuilding teams are sucking, their fanbased can look forward to a top 3 pick vs what we are having to watch, as Canuck fans.

I have to disagree, Buffalo were a well coached team. Players clearly new what was expected of them and the position they needed to be in and they did it well. Vcr looked like they were on the PK all night long chasing and getting out of position. Buffalo just picked off the Canucks fire drill, at will. Boudrea brought a lightness to the roster and it worked. Players did play with confidence but you can't do that again and again. It becomes beer hockey if that your expectations, throw the puck out there and lets have sone fun and a few beers after it's all over. This is supposed to be the NHL. Fans pay huge sums to attend games with some expectation of entertainment and the odd win.

Coconuts
If he never plays again that'd be chill, and my saying this has nothing to do with his play. Concussions are no joke, some folks can bounce back from them like Crosby, some guys just can't. Every concussion or brain injury is unique. Long-term quality of life is more important than playing a sport, he's young enough that he could do something else with his life and he's made enough money to probably be set up nicely. Obviously best case scenario is he's able to get through it and continue his career but if he can't I won't fuss about it. My point: we had seen how the roster is, when they don't like what the coaches are doing. Plus, they repaid Boudreaus' willingness to let them play to their strengths with a winning record and forcing them to play a defensive structure they have no interest in, will continue to lead to miscues & etc. Ofcourse, some will do their best to comply but some of the minute munchies are not happy or inattentive to what the coaches are preaching on the defensive side. Anyways, the team is in beer league status, right now - BUT A WINNING STREAK, EVER SO OFTEN, SHOULD APPEASE MOST AND PERHAPS PREVENT THEM FROM EVEN SELLING - AGAIN, IN THE TDL Edited October 24, 2022 by ShawnAntoski
