After tonight our schedule is considerably easier we play ana chi both 3 times. plus a bunch of other non playoff teams. i expect us to probably a 500 team the rest of the way.

Ugh...I'm queasy enough after brunch at the casino. .500 would suck.

I hope we clean house and replace King, Cull & Yeo if Bruce is getting canned all of them should be replaced too! Let the new regime bring in all their own coaches and if the team still stinks this time next year with or without big changes they will feel the heat from media and fans...no more scapegoat like they did with Boudreau!!

Rutherford needs to go. Retire, move to Florida, Palm Springs wherever. Just get him out of Vancouver. This treatment of Bruce is embarrassing and unprofessional. Especially if it’s to hire a coach like Tocchet. Great player. Horrible coach. All this and Jim has the kahunas to claim Boudreau is a friend. Can’t imagine how he’d be treating him if he didn’t like him.

Keeping an open mind about Tocchet isn't going to be easy.  He'll have to do something to distinguish himself from the Pittsburgh carpetbaggers who've taken over this team.  Failing that, maybe he can leverage his terrible relation with OEL to create such a monumentally toxic environment that we get another management housecleaning and a high lottery pick.

Looking back, I wonder if Rutherford's undermining of Boudreau wasn't already going on behind the scenes when Walker and Shaw decided  to move on.  Put the writing on the wall and then watch it become a self-fulfilling prophesy as key contributor's to Bruce's success jump ship.

If Rutherford thinks he can switch off the negativity once he gets his coach, he's got another think coming.  The players have been through way too much of it since the bubble and those who can get out will, like Edler (who bled green and blue) did.  Horvat will be just the beginning.

I can see Pettersson demanding a trade at the end of the year.

None of us like the way Boudreau is being treated but what did Tocchet do to you? Lol did your wife leave you for him.

Relax

Sorry for not being welcoming towards a career criminal who created a toxic environment in Arizona. There's simply no reason anyone should respect a complete dirtbag who can't act with professionalism or integrity, despite how good of a match those flaws make him with the oxygen thief infesting the president's office.
