You got traded and could've just f**ked off with your new team for the 8 more years you signed but you decide to get cheeky and rub it in our face. Yeah, some fans complained about your captaincy, but most of us cheered you on with our hearts out during your time here. You had genuine fans. It's not like he doesn't know this market either. He knows fans would be upset with comments like that. And he wasn't just some random plug, he was our former captain and he's saying stuff like that lol. I genuinely hope the isles fall off a cliff and he eats his own words. Pretty disappointing. Us smart fans know Bo is a secondary/tertiary player though. To be honest my friend I should also mention that I told the captain of my Junior A team in Ontario in 2017 that Horvat was my favourite NHL player (at that time he was). He responded quickly by saying "Bo Horvat is a d***, I went to a practice with him once and he was such a tool ." This former captain of mine is also a very friendly and mature kid who would never say something like this if it was not true. I'm not going to change my opinion on a player off of a comment in a big-win interview when he's also probably just still mad he did not get to stay with his original team. And I still love Horvat and know he did so much for Vancouvers community and was underrated on the ice. But I lost alot of respect for Bo after that comment. It was really strange and beyond unnecessary for him to say that. The story from one of my former team captains plus Bos comment tonight and now what you pointed out... is really making me think that this whole time it's just been Bo who is a bad leader and puts on a good face for cameras and community. Miller is the one who is the actual elite player and would literally run through twenty men for his teammates. He didn't lead the team to the playoffs (minus the bubble) and he was playing for a contract this season, not wins. Not what a team needs from a Captain.
