Miller isn’t actually slow. Neither is BO.  Just a different system in place tonight with more AHL guys…

Technically imo Horvat and Miller aren't slow when fresh but I find they gas out fast and then they're very slow where as Boeser is pretty slow at the best of times and crawls when tired.

I don’t think the rule applies to the height of the player.

The rule applies to where the stick makes contact in the Player’s body.

If your stick hits a player in the face, while they’re going down or in the face when they’re down, then that’s ‘high sticking’.

Note) High Sticking is the action where a player carries the stick above the normal height of the opponent's shoulders and makes contact with the opponent. A player must be accountable for being in control of their stick at all times. (a) A minor penalty shall be assessed for high sticking an opponent.

You're responsible for your stick...and if it hits a guy in the face and he bleeds....high sticking.

There’s high sticking “ minor “ and then high sticking “ major”  when blood is present. Player serves 5 min without ability to come back to play if his team is scored on. And then there’s “ match “ which is obvious deliberate

He’d look good in Red and Black.
Pan Up Ice Hockey GIF by Carolina Hurricanes

The better/ best move is Boeser,   a rumour back east is Boeser joining Horvat and Barzal.

Which is a line up many wanted to see here.

Lou needs to make the playoffs or lose his job.   .. and he might be getting desperate enough to do it.

So that was a 4 minute minor. Thank you.

Not the correct interpretation of the rule. Homer glasses on too tight. You can't have your face on the ice and claim it's a high stick.

Personal attack isn't necessary.

But the "face on the ice" says it all...if you have to exaggerate it, that answers it. if a guy's laying on the ice I don't think you're allowed to whack him in the mouth.

Good try though, you'll learn the game soon enough.

Should move both.
