And they will suck until Kadri and Huberdeau's contract runs out.

Kadri and Huberdeau are good players, but they just don't work with the current team they are a part of.

They are secondary players, not franchise.  Kadri looked good on Colorado's 2nd line with McKinnon on the 1st.

Same with Huberdeau in Florida... he looked good because the Franchise guy, Barkov, took the majority of the opposition attention.

And the dirty whiner Mathew Tkachuk also misses his set up guy Gaudreau... who was the perfect complement... meanwhile Gaudreau doesn't have the physical presence on his line to allow him to dangle... Laine is a slacker who only is useful when he gets a gimme he can fire one time.

Are we talking about Alf or Drance?

Both! But half kidding aside, who the hell is this guy to listen to?

These comments are so apparent that's constantly talked about on here.

The guy's simply a parrot; a puppet.

At least Tocchet and Allvin are not seeing any mirage in these "audition" games. We are so far away from being competitive even against middle-of-the-pack teams and just trading a couple of players in the offseason won't change that.

It's actually a blessing in disguise we're losing all these games.

You are so correct!

Fact: We've only been able to win against 4 teams (a total of 6 games) that are in playoff contention in the last 28 games played since the All-Star break when Tock-It took over.     Sad but True!    Most of the games we've won in the last two months were against all the worst, bottom-feeding, dedicated tank teams in the league which has left "some" naive fans thinking we're on the road to the cup next year with this same lot of incompatible players that have failed us for years.

As you and very many have stated, we have a very long way to go and after reading today that the Canucks gave up on "at least" two more 1st Round draft picks if they would have unloaded Miller to Pittsburg - which they should have done - combined with the 1st and 2nd Rounder's they threw away on that seriously injured (unserviceable) Detroit RHD (HornWreck) trade we overpaid on and we could have had a very significant haul of draft pick in this very deep draft year and next if Aqua-Lini had allowed JR to perform "Major Surgery" (Rebuild) which JR finally admitted needed to be done after seeing enough hopeless hockey from this team to make him sick to his stomach.

Unfortunately it now looks like we're on yet another endless retooling path......

I always find guys like Drance easier to listen to than when they write - or taking in their social media.

I don’t think he’s “wrong” on what he’s saying. Management has the difficulty switched up to max this offseason for sure.

So all 3 teams f*cked up, in a nutshell.

EDIT: and Markstrom's

WRONG.

Marky is an excellent goalie... Edmonton would instantly add him if they got an opportunity.

So would a lot of the team's in the league.

All the teams and players which were involved in the exchange of players between the Flames, Panthers and Columbus have gone into the toilet with the changes in team chemistry.

The lone exception is Colorado, who lost Kadri, and who struggled early but who have come back late in the season.  They would be better with Kadri, but their core was sufficiently intact and they survived.

Mackinnon was also hurt for part of the year. Insane he’s now top 5 in scoring.

How many actual good seasons has he had?
