The trade looks to be a win for the Canucks, the Islanders and Bo. Not sure why the never ending attacks on his character are needed. The Isles leap frogged a team that was ahead of them in the standings with 4 games in hand. Bo got his long term deal, the Canucks got a good prospect, Beauvillier and finally a top 4 potential top 2 RHD out of the deal. 
 

All 3 parties made out with a win imo. 

The negative energy comes with contracts like that. If he didn't want that , he could have signed a deal that wasn't highway robbery

I haven't liked the defensive efforts from our wingers outside of Joshua, Di Guiseppe, and Studnicka.

 

The rest haven't been hard enough on the board battles, and haven't shown a lot of defensive conscientiousness.

 

Shows the lack of two way intelligence depth we have on the wings.

Then someone would complain that he wouldn't take a discount to stay in Vancouver.
