Fake quote from Bo or not, one has to expect that any player, especially a "leader" like Bocephus would have that mindset of going in to the game "balls to the wall", "do or die"....but alas, the opposing team were big meanies, and sweet BoBo got neutered quite easily...

The one real quote, and the 2 questions didn't even ask to compare NY to Vancouver

 

“It’s been unbelievable,” Horvat said, asked about the Islanders’ playoff push and the fans at UBS Arena. Then came the hammer. “It’s a lot better than Vancouver. I’ll tell you that for free.” 

 

The NY fans will make his life miserable there in short time (and I'll tell you that for free)

Had you kept your mouth shut, you'd have had more support

Now you have one city glad you are gone  with a new culture coming and one wishing you were gone for many more years

Good thing you witnessed how LE handled it, to now experience it for yourself

As much as some on here were defending Bo after that comment, it was clearly an intentional dig at the team and the city. 

 

I personally was standing up for him prior to that remark. 

 

He should have just kept his idiotic mouth shut. A real bonehead move.

 

Anyway, he got his money, thankfully not from us.
