Wow did Carolina lock it down, NJD looked hungover after such an emotional series but that's how Carolina play - very boring but solid defence, and it works in their favour without their two forwards injured. Great depth game and very tight defensively, similar to when they played the Canucks and I remember thinking how hard it was to even get a shot off. That's great playoff hockey, Rod knows what he's doing. I'm sure NJD will battle back but if they're going to get into this series they have to do it sooner than they did in the last one.

They gotta stop this BS scheduling.  It's not as bad as when NBC was involved, but I like it old school... each matchup should be playing alternating days as much as possible.

Hockey is not as exciting for some if there is no canadian team schadenfreude involved. Still, these are good teams and one of them will likely raise the cup.
