I could see the Devils getting on quite a run here.

Yup.  I see them in the finals.  With such a hot goalie now, they really don't have any holes in the lineup.  And man, the speed at which they play reminds me of the Avs last year.

You must have not been watching. When the Devils are rolling (like they were tonight), they are quite possibly the most exciting team to watch in the whole league.

If Schmid continues to lock it down, NJ has got this.

Carolina aren't scoring against that defence and hot goalie, even if the Devils' lose their goalie streak at some point during the series. Devils in 6.

Flip two coins.  The four outcomes will determine which goalie on which team gets hot and steals the series.  There's no way this matchup becomes a shootout.  Bunch of overtime winners and low-scoring games.

Cane’s won’t let NJD speed through the neutral zone like the Rags did.

Rod the bod will have his team lock it down on these youngsters.
I’ll take the Canes in six please.

Gotta catch em to lock it down.

Despite being the Isles, Carolina is limping into this series. It was a very physical series that Carolina isn't as used to playing. I'd imagine that might start to be a factor early on in the few few games.

I think NJ's speed will show early because I think the Hurricanes will look fatigued, but Carolina has a good system that can really lock down the neutral zone and stifle teams with speed. If Carolina can keep NJ neutralized and forced to play a grinding/slow pace game they have a shot. But if NJ finds a way to break through with their speed and skill, I like their chances as they have more game breaking skill.
