other than playing tony hawks pro skater and tenchu 1/2 when i was a kid, i've never played any other activision/blizz games. never played diablo or WoW. glad i never did

Heard stories of Khaira's father working two jobs, some with a graveyard shift to keep his boys in hockey from a young man I know who played with Jujhar Khaira.  I hope Khaira heals properly and finds another NHL role. Can't help but cheer on a kid and family like Jujhar and the Khairas.

If an NHL deal is not in the works for 2021-22 for Khaira, I hope he's at least offered a Johnny Canuck contract so he has a place to play pro hockey this coming season.

And you guys have some sort of objective metric to back up that claim? Sorry but I am so sick to death of the whole "people suck" narrative. Of course it's never the person saying people suck that suck. They're always one of the good guys. I'm sure you guys are decent enough people, as honestly, I believe, most people are. It's just the a-holes get all the media attention. I am sure someone will point out how toxic social media has become as proof of humanity's devolution. However, given the millions of people who use these platforms and the millions more who don't even have internet access, again, I think these creeps are the exception, not the norm.

Didn’t Brian Burke say he didn’t even know what the heck Weisbrod did back when he was with the Flames?  Biggest reason to keep Benning as GM. Look at who is next in order to the throne.  Weisbrod.  Reason Dotard chose Pence as his number two.

Well if Ownership lost faith in Benning, you can be pretty sure Gear and Weisbrod would be gone too. 

In and of itself in the Toffoli case he is a player that the team should have retained and if it was a JB only decision to not even provide an offer or intent of interest then yes that is a major problem and cost the club. However from what is sounding more and more like the case is ownership was and perhaps still is not letting him make these decisions due to the finances. Its one thing to think JB just simply didnt try and re-sign guys but I think ownership pulled resources from JB at a critical time last offseason which is why it will be more of a piss off when JB is relieved by the very ownership that cut his options.

That said I think as much as JB has an eye for talent assessment, he is not along with his group very creative at all in terms of utilizing cap, weaponizing it when the chance presented itself and appears as a fan to be very poor in the communication department.

I think he should probably move on, but I don't blame him solely on a Toffoli move, JB did indicate there is much more information we do not have and if by running out of time he could have meant many things re: ownership needing money off the books, Toffoli could also if he wanted to stay very easily could have worked with the club on timing for sure. No he did not receive an offer, but you can't tell me JB didn't say hey we need to sort somethings first, he didn't have to take the Montreal offer either right, two parties here.

Love seeing more and more prominent people call out the corruption in the league.  It's about time the NHL was held accountable for the criminal corruption; fan deserve an honest league that actually cares about integrity.

@King Heffy  I have always felt if you have only one legit NHL skill, it better be goal scoring ability.  You can't teach that.  Boeser will get better in certain other areas of the game (via experience).  Robitaille is a hockey hall of famer simply on the basis of his goal scoring skills.  

Torts is trying to get Laine to pick up the skills that can be taught.  Even Ovi bought in under Trotz and became a 200 foot player.

@King Heffy re: 200 foot play, he did score an end-to-end goal not too long ago after picking up the puck in his own end, so maybe he's learning in that regard.

I got Pfizer as well.  Sore arm for a few days.  Felt really tired one day, but pretty mild.

Benning chose the right goalie. It sucked to see Marky in red, but he is older and has injury history. He's also an emotional player and without coach Clark, maybe he's deviated from the path. Six years is a long time to be handcuffed to a hefty contract. Not saying he's Eriksson, but...

He's getting $5 million for his goaltending and $1 million for living in that hellhole.
