The Colt 45s
Qualifying Lack is the most interesting part of this story.
RunningWild
Nice to hear, some action finally Hopefully Weise doesn't pull an Oreskovich Wonder about Duco, he's an RFA?
Pears
How is that "little"? He's is a goalie that has never even played half a season in this league, and some people think he is a God-send! And you're throwing around almost 1 million dollars a year as "little"... wowww
CanucksFanMike
Surprised they didn't qualitfy Grags.... he was great on 'o', just needed to sharpen up in his own end and he could have been a top 6. plus he's only 23 and has plenty of time to develop on an already deep defensive team
CrippledCanuck
According to this article they have until next monday to qualify the rest of the RFA's http://www.theprovince.com/sports/Canucks+make+offers+Schneider+Weise+Lack/6801770/story.html
Ronning4center
Eddie Lack as well. Something is starting to make me think we only have part of the info, i can't see management letting all these players walk.
2009cupchamps
People have to remember that a team can only have 50 players signed to pro contracts at any one time, this happens every year you let some go so others can be signed by the organization. fagin
I absolutley despise this argument. Other teams, such as Columbus, NYI, Edmonton and Tampa would gladly pay Schneider Luongo's contract. Not exactly the term, but the money.

WHL rocks
Grags must have been qualified as well. No way MG lets him turn UFA. He's a young puck moving Dman who we just traded for.
LeanBeef
The 2 Florida trades and the Hodgson trade will look horrible if we release Grags, Duco, and Oreskovich. elvis15
Gragnani and Pahlsson gone. Kassian playing 5 minutes on the fourth. So much for that Hodgson trade Volpatti and Weise as 4th line wingers?

CookieCrumbs
Nobody has officially been let go yet. It's all speculation that guys like Oreskovich and Duco won't get QO's. Did I miss something?
The Kassassin Train
Duco, Grags, Oreo, and Parent are NOT lost nor are they FA. Confirmed. IN LIMBO: The Canucks still have four other restricted free agents — Marc-Andre Gragnani, Mike Duco, Victor Oreskovich and Ryan Parent — to either qualify or release by the June 25 deadline. “It is possible that one or more could receive a qualifying offer between now and next Monday,” Gilman said cryptically. Based on last season, it doesn't appear that Parent and Oreskovich are the possibilities.
