saucypass
Great signing. Cheap for a guy coming off 50 pts.
Stormtrooper Steve
Good signing. Can't argue with that. Nice depth signing and a good stop gap till Pettersson is ready to play some games.
Gaudette Celly
Only once has he failed to score 10+ goals in his career. Seems he has shaken off the Oiler taint as well.
LeanBeef
Just a few years ago oilers fans hated Kassian for what he did to Gagner.... now they love him and Gagner is with the Canucks.... so much can change
billabong
I'm not hating the deal. Whats the expectation 15-20g/40 points? He should be able to get that

It is good that we don't have to rely on ALL of them being on the roster. Some will start in Utica and get tons of development time with prime minutes, then get called up for long injury stints. where the fourth line ...nope the third line ...nope the second line...nope the top line..nope no space in any of the 6d either. the box yep ...great looks like willies development plan is alive and well. Guys pay there dues do what there asked in the minors in the offseason and then this orginzation rewards vey Larsen Chaput megna sutter and signs more guys that push them further away from a legit shot. I don't even mind the del zotto and gagner signings but then Tanev and sutter should be on there way out.

I do agree this keeps kids on the farm, but what prospect at center do we have that is ready to make the jump, and is anywhere close to Gagners level? edler rocks
Right handed shot for the pp, that's worth his salary right there. I can actually see him being a good fit with us. But maybe that's just my Canucks homerism/optimism showing lol.
Sugar baby watermelon
liking the signing, clever of Benning to bring in a PP specialist, wondering what his role is going to be here? similar a PP specialist but what line does he fit on? great stop gap veteran who has been in the league forever and can pass on what he learned to the rookies

So where does he play top line center nope second line center nope third line center sure except 4.5 million foundational sutter is there fourth line ....I'm sure a 3.15 million dollar offensive guy will pile up point there's playing with Dorset and hopefully gaunce almost 8 mill tied to the bottom centers i like gagner more more than I like sutter so if the plan is to trade sutter then great but I don't think there is a plan except to continue to do what been getting done for 4summers now throw sh.t at the wall and hope it sticks.
