He is a Quebec man through and through. Maybe in 10 years when his kids are a bit more grown up.

elvis15
You don't just throw a guy into an NHL level job without some experience first, especially coaching. Burrows is learning in Laval. It doesn't matter ROH, Slay the Dragon, or anything else, you don't set the guy up to fail after the career he's had here. 1 1
BCNeil
I think he wants to be in Laval. He wants to raise his kids there. Edited December 4, 2019 by BCNeil
6string
He has his coaching training wheels on in Quebec which one day will land him in Ottawa or Montreal as an assistant coach. A head coaching position in those markets is not a stretch imo.
MikeyD
Might want to coach in Montreal over us to be closer to home. Wouldn't shock me if the Canucks were offering continuously though.
Tinky-Winky
Woulda been great if he was hired for utica over laval, but its what it is, maybe in a few years he may join, but eitherway, glad he had a great night
Johnny Torts
I have a feeling we will see him here one day. He knows Vancouver.

The last thing anyone would want in this market is to be the guy who fired Alex Burrows.
JeremyCuddles
No. I want a Burr n Juice show, podcast, whatever on Sportsnet. Maybe then I’ll watch their bush league channel.
captainhorvat
Dudes literally coaching in his hometown. I believe his hometown Pincourt to Laval is about the same distance as Vancouver to Langley. I highly doubt he wants to move his family back to Vancouver but who knows. I believe the Sedins will have some sort of role within the organization before anyone else.
StanleyCupOneDay
If he wants to be here or be back home with his family in Quebec he has earned the right to do whatever he chooses. I love the guy and am thankful for the memories he gave us when he was here. Once a Canuck, always a Canuck out here or out east (likely the latter with his young family). Phat Fingers
Got my vote. Bring in Burrows into our scouting department. As an undrafted gem, maybe he could develop a knack for finding gems like himself. Also Kevin Bieska for team president. He has the chops and is wicked smart. In fact Bieska for President of the US. Good knows Trump could use a superman punch or two.
