I don't even use the smart part, it was just on sale so we got it, internet is better on phones and computers than TVs

the 32 inch LED you linked to is good, I notice Walmart has 40-46 inch TV's around the same price.. most of the arguments against SmartTV's will be religious-like in nature, research DLNA and the apps for yourself and see if you find them useful, the notion that networks are for phones and computers is bunk
