      Sally Anne’s are always good.  Double V is a bit pricy, but has a good selection.  These places are the best if you’re a +40 waist!  :rolleyes:

      I am quite happy with the Denver Hayes jeans that I recently bought at Mark's. Significantly cheaper than other name brands, and in a "blind" try-on-and-test situation, I would likely say they are more comfortable.

      They didn't get near value for Panarin. Motte was a bright spot, and they lost Hjalmarsson for a downgrade on D.

    Any thoughts on telus optik tv? pros/cons? Should I switch from telus satellite?

      @Chip Kelly I've never had that issue with how many TVs can be on.  I can record and watch up to 5 programs at the same time.  Mine rarely cuts out.  I did have a pixelization issue a month or so ago, but I had the Telus guy out and it turned out I had an old modem.  They replaced it and now the picture is perfect again.  Apparently the service is even better if you live where they have fibre optic.  They're installing it all over Victoria but haven't got to my street yet.  My Dad has it and it's great!

    Has anyone else watched 13 Reasons Why? That show took me for a spin. Outstanding.

      It's different than the book for sure, but it's well done. I liked it quite a bit better than the book. It's on netflix.

    Downloading ebooks from the library is pretty cool. I've had to do it since they shut down kat.ph.

    My telus wireless internet has been going really slow for the past few weeks. What should I try? Can i adjust some router settings? It's happening on multiple computers.

      that's nuts. i did a speedtest about an hour ago (it used to be fine a few weeks ago, but right now this is what i just got). 

       

      Ping: 237ms

      Download: 0.2 mbps

      upload:0.30 mbps

       

      I tried it with the ethernet and it's still really slow. Youtube still going back to 144p.

      Oh dude I feel for ya, that is just brutal! I couldn't live like that lol. If you're not in a contract I'd definitely recommend Bell Fibe. Their internet is nuts + they have wireless cable boxes with Netflix built in.

      OK then its most likely your service and not a conflict with another device or channel. Man thats dial-up territory you're getting there. 

       

      I would also ask them to come out and upgrade the connection to your house (assuming you live in a house). I did have an issue one time where the coax connection outside an older house I was living at was corroded and simply replacing that coax connection did the trick. They can do that when you're not home. Good luck.

      Ice Level Sports in Richmond.  I got 2 different jerseys done from them a long time ago and they are great!  100 bucks basically for name, number on back and sides, and A or C if you want.  Quality is top notch and it is all NHL lettering for any team.  They actually ship it out to Montreal to get done.

      Pacific Coast Cresting on East Hastings is also a good option. Got mine done for $40. Great quality, too.
