    Just saw Willie Desjardins and his wife at the Level 400 Encore Club at Rogers Arena for the Eric Church concert tonight. This is one helluva Season Ticket Holder perk!

      It was a nice night out for the two of us. Eric Church was phenomenal. The suite was awesome. We were extremely lucky to have won it for the night.

    Life is all about perspective. The sinking of the Titanic was a miracle to the lobsters in the ship's kitchen.

      On the plus side they discovered new microbes that ate the iron in both the Bismarck and the Titanic. Only sad part is it's possible the Titanic will collapse on itself into rust in 2030.

      Pretty sure they built her in Belfast, & no one wanted to even speak of that for generations.

       

      Finally came to terms with it, & built a Titanic museum there, I read a few yrs back.

       

      Seems to have become the ultimate sporting-metaphor.

       

      Perhaps the best symbol for humanity's arrogance, in terms of hasty, unfettered industrialization.

      Either that or we are all getting old and therefor the icons we identify with the most are all getting to the age where they are dying...

      he was 88 and was suffering for a while with dementia related disease hes in a better place not suffereing not sure what the whole deal about prolonging life if your suffering  i saw my grandfather die at 93 slowly getting skinnier and skinnier  no thanks   should have given him  some pills to end his suffering a few yrs earlier no one should die like that it was horrible.
