Random question:
Gas or Electric snowblower?
I'm getting one soon, but which one? 4-5 car driveway size. Live in the interior of BC.

This morning I ordered the Greenworks Electric 2 stage snowblower from Costco - it's cheaper there than from Greenworks own website on sale lol.
I already have their mower so I have a few batteries and have been very satisfied with that unit - hopefully the snow machine will work as well. Either way, being from Costco, if it doesn't perform, it'll go back and I'll get a gas powered unit.

How are people feeling about the recent Bill Peters hiring in the WHL?
-
Are we all ready for the steady stream of fabrications regarding every player/pick/prospect on the team leading up to next month's draft?

Never in my life have I been this happy to be wrong about a playoff series! Enjoy your records Bos....they're MEANINGLESS now....
-
Yes!!!! Nashville Victory!
-
These NESN Bruins announcers are SO awful...this TB/Bos game is only watchable w/o audio sadly.

7-2-1 in the last 10 with one of the easiest remaining schedules in the entire league. I'm afraid we've seen this scenario before....

Lazar for 4th - this must be the 'major surgery' JR alluded to....
-
CBJ vs. AZ, what result is better for our tank?...... ...I'm guessing AZ win in OT, or...?
-
I knew the HNIC panel would support the TO trade, but this is ridiculous. It's comical to watch.

If we won #2 OA in the draft - would people consider that a win or a loss?
-
Still a win -- Fantilli and Carlsson (and to a lesser extent Michkov given his contract) are supposed to be special too.
I doubt the Sabres were too disappointed in 2015 when they got Eichel instead of McDavid (I mean there's still a gap, but Eichel in that instance was still elite, so I think it'd be the same for whichever of the other kids we would get at #2).

Hope you're proud of yourself JR, that was one of the most classless debacles in franchise history. Sad part, the books not closed on this wasted season.
-
Lots of injuries to key guys on contending teams right now.
Got to think a GM might want to get a jump on the trade market and get things rolling.....
-
@Fanuck I'm not laughing at you, FYI. I have zero confidence that this management group knows what it's doing. They are doctors claiming that we need major surgery, but they have so far, identified the wrong parts to do surgery on. It's pretty damning too that as "surgeons" that they had, at the beginning of the season, opted to invest in the wrong equipment for this team.

So your franchise is floundering in mediocrity and your move is to hire a convicted criminal with a losing record?

What are people's thoughts on RHD Sandin-Pellikka?
We're currently sitting in a draft position at just about his predicted final ranking? Or Willander - he's ranked lower but fills organizational need.

He's currently at #10 on this list:
-
He is small, and looked pretty bad in World Juniors imo, but to be fair so did the entire Sweden team.
Bedard, Fanta, Carlsson, Michkov, Smith, Benson, Yager, Barlow, Gauthier, Sale, Dvorsky are all better picks imo as of now.
Rather push for Strbak, Reinbacher, Dragicivek in late 1sts and 2nd rounds for RHD's.

Super elated after watching team Canada, then turned to Bill's gm....

I can't follow a sport that is fundamentally based in no small part on which players can 'dive' and 'fake' better than the other team's.

Have to admit, this did surprise me:
While it might surprise some, the most dangerous line in the NHL this season has been the Ilya Mikheyev-Elias Pettersson-Andrei Kuzmenko trio. The trio is averaging 2.13 goals per 20 minutes of ice time, the best of all 49 lines with at least 100 minutes played at five-on-five.

Why do Veterans wait in the cold for 'dignitaries' to arrive during Remembrance Day ceremonies? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Confederate General Johnson & Union General Sherman had numerous battles in the field during the American civil war yet Johnson stood hatless (it was a bitter cold day) in the funeral procession for Sherman. His friends pleaded with him to wear a hat but he wouldn't have anything of it. He said: "if the positions were reversed, Sherman would not wear a hat either". Johnson would catch a cold & later pneumonia (and died soon after).

Down to 3 winless teams in the league. All 3 play on Thursday - some team will still be winless on Friday.

Ever come across symptoms for a terrible medical condition - then realize you seemingly have all of them?

Thanks Vinny, appreciate the perspective.
I understand where the jokes are coming from, but I can assure people I'm not the worrying type whatsoever. I so rarely see the Dr that my family Dr actually dropped me as a patient (but I convinced him to see me again). Bottom line my Dr said I definitely did the right thing in making an appointment- we're doing a battery of testing to, as you said Vinny, rule things out....

as a 84 going on 97 year old, i have copd, diabetes, enlarged aorta, fatty liver, unhealthy kidneys, plus i had a 5 bi-pass surgery in 2017. putting that along side arthritis in 5 areas of my spine several cancers that weren't fatal, makes me a walking time bomb. at my age i don't care. good luck to you as you seek help.
