    Canucks absolutely have to get one of these top 4 picks in the draft this year, all of them are ready to play in the NHL, deepest draft in ages

    What are people's thoughts on RHD Sandin-Pellikka? 

     

    We're currently sitting in a draft position at just about his predicted final ranking?  Or Willander - he's ranked lower but fills organizational need.

      The reality is that Gillis ill-prepared this team for the future. If you look back at the drafting history of what he did, he screwed this team's futures by missing all those draft picks that should've been contributing on the roster by the time Benning showed up.


      We had no drafted defenseman and no drafted goaltender. Was it so hard to get someone from the 2nd round and after?

    Watch Florida win the draft lottery, which means Montreal gets Bedard. Imagine getting a potential lottery pick for Ben Chiarot.

      @Warhippy As much as Benning had done a better job with the draft, Anaheim has nailed with almost every single pick in recent history, similar to how TBL have been doing it.

      Please, not Anaheim. Their prospect farm is +++ much better than ours, and getting Bedard will basically finish their rebuild. They'll be a dominant team for many, many seasons.

      He was all-in on this Doerrie hire, for example, and even most recently, he was making excuses.

    i wish JR and PA would tell us if we're tanking or if they will make moves to improve this team.

    it would show us fans matter a little to them. but maybe we don't.

      @smithers joe I don't think they are required to tell people what their current plan is. Plans change. Obviously, they hoped they'd do better. I suspect Miller's going to get traded off during the TDL.

      Covid is definitely no joke. Just because it's fine for some people doesn't mean it's fine for everyone else. It doesn't make it less serious because no one actually knows what the impact is for that person beforehand. Hope you get better soon.
