Biega can't pass as a forward I liked his hits but his shots to slow.

@ItsMillerTime Biega is probably one of the best 4th line skaters in the league right now. Plus with the Canucks d being injury prone every year he adds depth and can go back on d when a guy leaves the game.

The guy is like Dorsett with better skating,hitting, and more skill and versatility for a third of the price.

I don't think he should be in the AHL but if we won't fire the idiot behind the bench, it's for the best.  Ideally the best solution is to let Jarvis coach the rest of the season.

@Quantum Thank you. It's bad enough people are fine with him being scratched in meaningless games. On top of that they want him in the minors and Rodin to take his spot next season. He has almost 2 full seasons of quality AHL production  under his belt. Yet because he is adjusting to a higher level and brand new team people think he is simply not NHL ready yet. 

The problem is he also needs NHL quality coaching and he sure as hell won't get it here.

Willie has such a double standard though Boeser and Shore parachute in across the country. Goldy and Boucher have to earn Willie's trust first.

Age of consent is 16, or 14 if you're within 5 years. If you have to break out the fingers to do the math I'd suggest there are plenty of other fish in the sea.

@ReggieBush After seeing what Burrows did. He is not being a team guy if he is holding up a good trade. His saving grace is if they want to actually keep him. He was a 9th round pick from a country who didnt have a history of NHLers HE should be grateful like Burrows.

You are correct about lowering the total games played, as there is big money in each game played. 

The 3 point system is a good one I think. I believe hockey is one of those sports where a point should be given for a tie after regulation (actually for a tie game, but those don't exist anymore), due to the physical nature of it. I also like that you awarded 1 point for a SOL, as many people seem to want this to be 0, but then you increase "accidental" own goals in O.T. to secure a point. I think playoffs could be interesting with that format too, as a lower seed might be very competitive, but have lower points due to mainly winning in extra time. This could make for more upsets of top seeded teams.

I'd argue the game has derteriorated since about the late 80's. Yet in that time period, tech(& game availability) served as the proverbial 'lipstick on a pig'. Therefore they could mask the dilution, whilst bringing in AS*****s like Bettman, to dumb-down & promote this thing like a cheap wh*re.

Damn shame. It COULD have been so much better these past couple decades. Financial interests, distorts & ultimately destroys almost everything.

Oh and the odd scrap when things boiled over to take back momentum.

Plus hitting without having to fight after somebody is layed out.

I doubt Pedan gets resigned...the only reason he went to Utica was because of Biega getting his 19 games and the team being sold on Larsen...granted..he is raw and prone to mistakes but by all accounts he had a great camp and should of made the team as #8

I guess that depends on how he does the next 3 months, but he's been trending up according to our Utica sources here. If he keeps improving I don't see why he'd be let go. I don't envision us going into next season with all of the NHL D we have right now, including Larsen. Hope he's alright, but Pedan might be worth keeping over him at the moment.
