I like that our defence is the exact same and you completely lost half our forwards lol

Somehow 50 point 2nd liner with injury problems and a 3rd equals a 50 point franchise d-man.

Somehow a defenceman playing in his first season is worth more than an elite 2nd line Selke winning center capable of 25-30 goals and 60-70 points when healthy.

I can do that too.

I'm talking about weber not Jones. Kesler is on pace for 50 points and he is healthy. Wonder when people will realize Keslers 2010-2011 season was a one off.

I'm wondering what Hammers value would be? He's probably at an all time high right now. He's head of Canucks Foundation from players or something though so I doubt he gets moved.

It's got ot be some of our Defense we have soo many right now. Wouldn't be surprised to see Hansen, Higgins, Burrows on the block, but it's hard to move those NTC's

Ill believe it when I see it.

This team has a track record of trading MAYBE 2 or 3 significant players a decade for assets that have a proven impact in return.

Canucks have some big holes up front and have no reliable PP QB - the strength is on d where they have multiple third and fourth calibre d men and maybe in Goal where Lack looks like he can be an above average goalie. If MG actually does something to address the needs of the team (and gets someone to waive a NTC) I can see one of Hamhuis, Bieksa, Edler, Tanev or Luongo being part of the trade.

What about 08-09, 09-10 Kesler? Idk how you classify Weber as a 50 point D man when he has hit 50p once while Kesler has had 2 seasons with 70p but is apparently a 50p 2nd line player.

He said a player we wouldn't consider and pretty much every single TRADE thread has Tanev's name thrown around in it, so I would think he isn't the player.

My guess is that its someone within the core or Kass or Boothy :bigblush:

Sedins, Kesler (please no), Juice, Burrows, Luongo
