Nope, Leafs fans are not allowed to jab at anyone else until their team proves that they are legit. And he's not even smart, if he had a hint of knowledge about those two he wouldn't be saying those things.

Edmonton fans ain't allowed to chime in either. We've pounded both of those franchises to a pulp for the better part of 2 decades. Both fan bases can pipe down

I laugh at the idea that he's an Oilers fan.

Still of the mindset Brock should start in the AHL regardless how good he looks at camp and in preseason.  Needs to soak his feet in the pro game and develop his skills.  We already made the mistake to rush Jake, no need to repeat history with Boeser.

Forget starting, spend the season there. Next years outlook isn't much better than this years.

Great to hear great things from UND Coach Berry about Boeser. Very excited to possibly see him in action but hopefully not in the big club. It's a down year and if we sign him to a PTO and get him playing to winning culture down in Utica, it will do wonders for him. Comets are looking like a team wanting to make deep run and if Boeser can join after his UND season concludes, they may have a shot at winning the Calder Cup. Came close couple years ago but hope this will be the year even though we don't have as deep as a team

My preference is that he goes to Utica rather than Van. If he can help Utica make the Calder then all the better. Boeser goes to the Canuck rookie camp and plays a few NHL games and then stays in Utica until X-Mass. No hurry for the NHL unless he is simply to good to keep in the AHL.

I feel ya.  I'd love to see him help push Utica for cup contention.  It would also put Brock is a great position to get to know Green and help the org determine if Green is the one to better fit the team.  It's nutty to think dispite of all the nhl injuries. the fact that green has kept utica in the playoff picture with almost all of his off season add's for utica being in the nhl all season. A loss at the nhl level is also a loss at the american league level.  I think Brock would a great guy to have down in the A.  :D

McKenzie on Boeser ~3:20. He fully expects the Canucks not only to sign Boeser, but potentially burn a year off his ELC this year.

What if Boeser's team makes it to the "Frozen Four"?  We would be finished playing, and then how would Brock burn that first year?

The Canucks season ends on April 9th. The NCAA championship game is on the 8th.

Good chance Boeser isn't even available to play for them if his team goes all the way

Rather have him play for the Comets, then play for a team that already has their golf clubs ready.

Guys.. watch the video referenced, jesus. He says off the top that if Boeser's team doesn't advance the Canucks would be ok signing and burning a year.

Comets are gonna need all the help they can get. Labate, Gaunce, possibly Chaput and Megna coming over as well as Boeser would help Utica significantly.

True, but what if his team does advance?  Is Boeser okay with signing a contract for Utica and playing in the A, while not getting to burn that year?

It's pretty self explanatory if he advances... Frozen four is between April 6th-8th, Canucks last game is on April 9th unless Brock signs his elc and flies to Vancouver to play on the 9th you should be able to answer the question for your self.
