With them as the heart of our core we had our most success. We need at least two top three picks to repeat that success, or we will stay stuck in the middle. Put the rookies out with veterans who can teach them. Don't send our Baertschi, Horvat and Virtanen all together with Hutton on the blueline and Bartkowski as the only veteran on the ice. That's asking for trouble.We need to be working the rookies in with mentors, not just throwing them all together.I didn't like the idea of having them all together on one one either..They need to be insulated by Veterans. Reimer goalie could have had his leg propel it in himself...despite any kicking motion,..they couldnt not see Hansen's foot make contact stopped or in motion ---with that puck.Do the Canucks receive the benefit of doubt,... that's been frequently alotted to other teams,..ever??? What was the call upon the ice,..before going to the war room - anyway?Video was only inconclusive if you were watching on an HD potato. Kick was clear as day.
