He's in good hands.

All of which is a good sign. He wasn't sheltered with a veteran partner, yet he played solid minutes and was part of a regular rotation from the 3rd pairing. I didn't watch this game, but reading between the lines, this usage suggests to me that he's earning trust from the coaches.
Phat Fingers
I hope that OJ gains some confidence after his rough preseason. I believe that he is a guy who can shake it off and focus on getting better. His development is key key to our future.
AK_19
....meanwhile Sergachev has what would be a team leading 4 points this season and having a major impact on the TB's PP.

Clearly Benning blew yet another pick. We need to do whatever we can to correct it. Maybe they'll take Juolevi + our 1st this year, probably have to throw in Baertschi or Granlund, too.

Erik Karlsson
I still can't believe we passed on Tkachuk. I have 0 faith in our management when we have a top 10 pick.
Popular Post Warhippy
OMG i cannot believe we passed on Jagr and and and...wait. Am I whinging correctly or do I need to be more current and preparing myself for our obviously blown draft pick this upcoming draft instead?

I was at that draft, and still can’t believe we passed on Jagr. I thought for sure, when Quinn marched to the stage, he was going to take Jagr. Ok. If you actually watched them you'd know he's on the 2nd PP which doesn't have Kuch, Stamkos, Namestnikov, Hedman, and Killorn. He's still putting up points even there. Sergachev is now at 6 points Edited October 20, 2017 by AK_19

Thought you were implying that he’s only good because of hedman... and I was merely pointing out that our top 5 pick in the same year, a “top pairing guy” according to most here, can’t even make the nhl yet.
