The Canucks are doing one thing differently tonight.  They are burying the chances they get.  Eriksson finally got a bounce and beat the D to a puck in front of the net.  Horvat buried one perfectly top shelf and Sutter got off a great one timer into the open side (admittedly after a brilliant no look pass by Henrik).  We just need a monster hit from Tryamkin and we're firing on all cylinders.  That and 20 more minutes of solid fast paced hockey.

 

While we're at it, though, lets not get carried away.  It's only one game and as another poster mentioned, we're still pretty low in the standings (while at the same time within spitting distance of a playoff spot).

So I watch "The land before time" with the wife and kids, (laptop streaming in the corner) and pretty much miss the best two periods of hockey the Canucks have played all season.

Why torture yourself like this.....this team will not make the playoffs this year or the next .....they need way more consistency ...and for Dank and Hank and Edler to retire....if TL and JB get it right..perhaps the next gen lead by Bo will lead them back to the playoffs...

Burrows isn't a top 6 on any team besides the canucks in his prime
