There is no current Universe in which EP will "need" to be in the AHL....

...To do what...?

Learn how take a hit?....learn how to hit?....learn how to not cry when you setup your winger for an open net shot and he misses the net?

...or..

He could be with the Canucks...showing Gagner how to play with more spunk or turning BB into a 60 goal scorer instead of the 40 he might get without him.

Seriously a line of EP/BH/BB will destroy the other team and cause Bettman  to try to change the rules to keep us down...!

It's hard not to start with a quick summary of Elias Petterson's 17/18 season, where he stacked victories and records on each other.
Växjöforwarden eased 56 points in the basic series, and another 19 in the playoffs. He won both scoring and deleted Kent Nilsson's 42-year-old junior record. Add the prices for SHL most valuable players, this year's rookie and also the final play's most important, Stefan Liv Memorial Trophy.
In addition, JVM silver, series victory with Växjö in SHL and two gold - first SM gold with Växjö, since World Cup gold with Tre Kronor.
Now he has had a few months to sum up and melt all the impressions.

"Much happened in a short period of time, it went very fast last season," says Elias Pettersson, and continues:
"Now I have had a nice summer, thinking about what I accomplished last season and summing up. Some of them are proud of me.
It was an incredible season in many ways.
- Absolutely ... Yes, I have to say that, even if I do not like talking about myself. It was a good season.

With a little perspective, what is the brightest light?
"Biggest was to win two gold, both World Cup and SM. I have never won anything big and winning two big things in the same season is fantastic, says Pettersson, and quickly comes to mind that he was about to forget one thing:
- And that Timrå got up, of course. I would like to say that there were three things.
When Three Crowns secured the World Cup Gold, Elias Pettersson was following the drama from the side.
After a slight introduction to the tournament, he made his best match to Switzerland in the group game so far. However, in connection with a free-kick, where Pettersson was just going to put the puck, he fell badly into the goalkeeper.
"I agree with you that I was on time then. The tournament started a bit slowly, then it went better and better for each match and against Switzerland I felt very spicy. Created the scenes and of course ..., then that damage came where I broke my thumb. Yes, what can one say? We won gold, and that was the most important thing, but I would rather have been with and still playing. At the same time: damage comes and it was just like the situation.
How tough was it to follow the end of the page?
- No, it's the way it was. For my part, I thought it was obvious to stay with the team and it was as good as possible that we managed to win gold. It was fun. BUT: it would of course have been more fun to be on the ice than outside.
After the unfortunate collision with the target arches in the Royal Aren, it has been more or less completely silent around Elias Pettersson. At least in Swedish media. A conscious decision of the 20-year-old who in the summer nobbed all the interviews.
"All journalists in Sweden had my number so it was nice to change. It would have been a lot so it was nice to just be able to relax; think about last season and next season as well as fog on summer training.
You put up on many interviews last season, is something you regret in retrospect?
- Absolutely not. I have no problem with it, but in the summer I want to take a break and just be able to relax.

Now it has been three months since the World Cup final in Copenhagen. After five weeks of gypsum plaster followed another three weeks of rehab. Now Elias Pettersson assures that the broken thumb is completely restored.
On Friday, in the small NickBack Arena in Valbo, he made one of the few appearances in Sweden. He was part of Peter Forsberg's star team, Icebreakers, who met Nicklas Bäckströms mother club Valbo.
"The money goes well, and fun to be able to," Pettersson said after the star team cleaned by Valbo with 11-5 and the chain with the brothers Pettersson and Jonathan Dahlén had a big show.

In addition to Forsberg, Bäckström, Dahlén and Elias Pettersson, Emil was also involved in the team. One of the few opportunities through the career that the two Ånge brothers had the opportunity to play together.
- Great to play with the brother. It feels like it only happens when such matches match when it is not in full seriousness that we play with each other. But it's always fun to play together.
Emil and Elias have never really played in the same team, either at the junior or senior level.
"It has always been a year, both in Timrå and Växjö. But we are both young and the career is still long so hopefully we'll play with each other sometime in the future, "said Elias.
Already on Monday, Elias Pettersson flies to Vancouver where the first camps begin. The final goal is to take a seat in NHL and in the coming years play an important role in the Vancouver Canucks.
"Yes, hopefully I'll stay in Vancouver and take a seat in NHL.
What if it does not happen?
"If I do not, it's not the whole world, there are many players who started in AHL and then have a good NHL career.
The plan is AHL if it does not become NHL games?
"I want NHL as fast as possible, but when it is, I can not answer. I can only go there and do my best and let's see what's happening, "concludes Elias Pettersson.

Not the clearest, but pretty damn good for just plugging it into google.

I am looking forward to the Devil's pussy taking a seat in the NHL, creating scenes and bringing the spice.

BB is poised to Rocket up to the Rocket Richard trophy this year ...and with EP and Bh passing him the puck...

There is not a team in the league that can stop them....!

Here is what BB just did in the "Beauty league";

The soon-to-be sophomore was named MVP of Da Beauty League and finished with 35 points (16 goals, 19 assists) in nine games....!

EP centring a line with Dahlen and Boeser on his wings is the dream... might take a couple years to click and develop but thats the all star line I see in our future!

Dahlen-Pettersson-Boeser

Goldy-Bo-Lind

Leipsic-Gaudette-Virtanen

Three good lines that can skate and score with some tenacity mixed in!

looks good to me...for next year...at least in lind's case.

I would not be surprised to see Baer come out guns a blazing and even an Eriksson resurrection could be in the cards ... so those 2 will be in the top 9 to start this year anyway...

Purely looking at what we have now and am think about 1-2 years down the road. Plus you never know who we may draft, personally Im hoping a star RD showcases himself and falls into our lap so that our D corps can be one of the best in the league.

Or we trade for said RHD using Edler or Tanev.
