Welcome to the 'Top 30' series! We will select the top 30 players that are currently in the NHL.

 

How this works is, you vote for the player that you would rank #13 based on their recent accomplishments and likely potential next year.

 

Congratulations to Nikita Kucherov on being ranked as the #12 current NHL player!

I'm starting to lose interest. I think this list deteriorating. The fact that I have to vote in Backstrom for the 13th spot discredits it for me a little. It's a fun idea, but I don't think it's very accurate. 

Well that's pretty subjective. After the first two, maybe three, slots I don't think anybody on here would have identical lists for their top 30.

Voting Tarasenko. So much talent, yet no elite centre getting him the puck. 90 point player if he did.

 

Nominating Josi. If Doughty gets in, wouldn't you want a defenceman to replace him in the poll? I'm a bit surprised to see Subban nominations (even in previous ones) when Josi is Nashville's #1.
