At least Salak had the decency to pull out.

Popular Post SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Cool little postgame video from the Avangard lockerroom. Perhaps a portion of the tweet I posted above provides the answer: Артём Манукян! Ему и шапку “Emy ‘n Wanky” sure sounds more like a porn film than anything hockey related. Edited September 6, 2018 by SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME Autocorrect keeps changing “porn” to “poem.” Clearly my iPhone has a unique perspective on what constitutes poetry. 1

Then he lets it rip before D or goalie can adjust. Top corner too. Nice goal.

An "e" is actually a "yeh" sound so the word for no (spelled нет) is said "Nyet". So "Pyerro"

So "Pyerro" ha! I was banking that you might reply and confirm or correct! I know some times the vowels change sounds if they are not stressed but I am never sure which syllable is stressed unless it is indicated like so "é". Thanks! Quantum
Not sure if this is video has been shared yet but this is a video of Manukyan, from last year, taking down Daniil Lapin in a fight. Lapin is 6'0 and 170 pounds. Love the tenacity in his game, I can see why we picked him. Hope he has success in the KHL this year and that he migrates over to the NHL next year. Having him in the pipeline is good. This kid has legit NHL potential. 1

Popular Post SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Looks like today’s game is still scoreless. But around 15 minutes ago, Manukyan did something that resulted in this epic translated tweet: “Semjojojojonov! Manukyan simply opened Cyril all roads with his diamond Paso on a course, Cyril has used, with brushes loaded-Yezhov very hot. Drags this. So long.” 6
SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Assist for Manukyan. 1-0 now for Avangard. Manukyan setup Semenov for a goal on a 2-on-1. At least I think that’s what happened, based on these tweets: Edited September 10, 2018 by SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Appears that he won’t get credit for the assist. Manukyan apparently had the initial shot (at least from what’s been posted on Twitter), and then Semenov scored the goal off of the resulting rebound. You’d think that would be an assist, but KHL... **shrugs** Edited September 10, 2018 by SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
So according to the KHL website, Manukyan finished pointless. But from what I read today on Twitter, he should have gotten two assists, both off of rebounds he created. The first one I mentioned above, and the second one is in this video below: That’s Manukyan wearing #10 (strips the puck off the goalie, banks it off the post, and leaves his teammate with an empty net for the easy finish) and I can’t understand why that’s not an assist. SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Here’s the other goal (on which Manukyan deserves an assist IMO): That’s Manukyan (#10) carrying the puck and putting it to the crease for Versteeg. Creates a rebound and Semyonov finishes. Edited September 10, 2018 by SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Anyway, regardless of the dodgy KHL scorekeeping, Manukyan played 14+ minutes (his highest to-date) and was the driving force on both the goals created by his line. He also had a hit and 2 blocks (at least according to the official sheet).
