Which is only true with 50% probability on an any given day during an NHL season. I can see why they passed on him and went for Muzzin. But yes, healthy Tanev would address quite a bit of their weaknesses. And Tanev in Babcock's system will be really good at getting the puck moving. Actually, Tanev may not get injured so much playing in Babcock's system. Probably wouldn't have to block so many shots or get by two forecheckers to move the puck to a forward that is nowhere to be seen.
