Kobayashi Maru
Seems like a really good deal.
rekker
Was hoping he could be a Edler, stop gap replacement if Tampa was done with him. Good contact, sunshine and beaches, chance for a cup. Dont blame him for inking that deal. Edited June 18, 2019 by rekker
Coconuts
That's a pretty good deal for Tampa, they're gonna need guys on smaller deals like this to fill out their roster
theo5789
So about 2.25 or so without the tax break? Seems reasonable.
mpt
Seems like a steal for Tampa, considering we pay Hutton 2.8 Edited June 18, 2019 by mpt
D-Money
Coburn had a decent season last year. Probably left money on the table. But if you like where you are... One thing that will be different - last year Coburn, Girardi, Stralman, Cernak, and Sergachev all took turns being healthy scratches. Since Stralman and Girardi won't be back (perhaps Girardi will re-up for cheap, but not both), there will be more ice-time for the rest. aGENT
Another one bites the dust. UFA options are dwindling.

He had a boost in points to 23 on a team that had a 128 point leading scorer and also a 98 and 92 point guy. Don't forget the tax difference. Seems like normal deal for a player of his caliber rather than a "steal". Hutton had a higher PPG and played 22+ minutes average this past season (inflated due to injuries) and our leading scorer had 66 points.
kenhodgejr
Its funny what people will sign for when the potential of having to sell their boat and move to a cold city is at play.
Borvat
A winning culture/environment makes players want to stay even at a discount. Especially role players. The rich get richer.
