A bit of a surprise there. Florida seems to feel no pressure to bring him up and will just let him incubate. New Jersey has just 2 more cuts to make. It is down to Ty Smith and Matt Tennyson for the last D spot. Lagesson, getting outshined by Ethan Bear at Edmonton camp. Was certain he'd make their roster this year but now I'm not sure. Not cut yet, anyways. Ok last one of these I do...promise...ok maybe one more on Wednesday maybe not.... Luoto cut. Dano waived, Lilja and Milano have both made the roster. Devils cut Tennyson, which means they have 1 more cut to make with 14 forwards and 8 defensemen. I briefly thought "well then he's made the roster" however Smith is the only depth tier player that doesn't require waivers. That makes me think he will be the final cut. Lagesson was cut.
