I'm looking forward to seeing Bo play with Ferland or Miller. I see Roussel as a great, tough third liner. Last year without the losing streak and just playing .500 instead we would have squeezed in. Now we have a completely different team. Upgraded in every position....and a bevy of middle six players that can or could have very good seasons playing on the second and even the third line. Pearson, Ferland and Miller all have size to go along with JV, and although I don’t have high hopes Goldobin and LE still could surprise for different reasons. Add Bear into the mix and Green definitely could create three scoring lines with different looks. At the very least the top three lines will have lots of pop and toughness, and the team will finally have the depth that we’ve been missing the past four or even five years. Vancouver has gotten a lot bigger but they didn't need to get slower and that is what Lucic would have spelled coming to Vancouver. I wonder if he’s doing some training again with Barber YouTube hockey guy this offseason. I can’t wait to see this new version of the Canucks hit the ice. I’m super excited about this team. I really like how the roster is coming together. Playoffs? I believe so and Canucks imo will be a very dangerous team to play against. For me the big mystery is Miller. I really dont know too much about him honestly. So im looking forward to see what he brings to the team. For too long we have had this team, and its leaders,comfortable with its performance and give nothing but excuse after excuse for losses or lackluster on-ice performance. For those fans who were not around to witness the 94' team, you will see what we have been missing for a very long time. In contrast, Laine on the jets lost weight before the start of last season as he was criticized by the fans for being slow and sluggish and was in his best physical shape so far in his career. Phil Kessel I think is one them if he lost weight and was in better shape I’m not sure if he’d benefit from it. as far as Brock last year it looked like his upper body muscle weight probably slowed him down ,but I forgot he also had a groin injury that didn’t help him either.
