Imo depends the team... but I would guess you should get 1 st and a blue chip prospect for demko. Trade to Detroit..... for Veleno and 2020 1st.... that should be a top 5 pick ! Schneider got us a top pick and was far more proven at this level. Demko would have to be quite exceptional, and even then we aren't dealing from a position of strength. Teams would know we have to unload a goalie or lose them in expansion. Could really lower any possible return. It's just terrible timing really. Detroit post game broadcast was very complimentary of Canucks with several good observations such as holy cow those Canucks have four lines who just keep coming and Hughes is a revelation. Classic case of wearing down your opponent and collecting your reward in the third. Beagle and Motte have a ton of chemistry.
