Markstrom is so good right now, he’s working his way to becoming the third or maybe second best we’ve ever had and I might need to eat some crow pie, management really showed a lot of patience with him and it’s paid off. Might be the proudest I’ve been to be a fan since the Sedins had us at the top in then league. Sure it’s early days, but something tells me this won’t be a repeat of the last couple of quick starts. Like to see us tighten up and make it easier on our goalies but it seems to be working regardless. What a period - and a game actually, even though we were shorthanded quite a bit we peppered Howard and eventually found a way. He's got so much more to give. Tonight he ended up with 2 assists but his line was hemmed in their own zone for most of the game.
