AV was the problem

WD was the problem

Green is the problem...

Sounds an awful lot like it is a rebuilding team and the coach isn't as big of a problem as some on here seem to think...

AV wasn’t the problem. I thought he should have outlasted Gillis. But some coaches just run their course with a team.

WD was clearly in over his head and not ready to be a head coach, so you’re right there.

Green has done a good job building up the confidence of our young guys and creating a foundation. But it’s time for an experienced coach to come in and start taking them to the next level. That comes with systems and focus on detail, which Green is not getting out of his players. He’s done all he can with this group.

What's clear that the team is in a need for a fresh start with different system.  Green was playing with similar system with WD when he was the coach for Utica and is bringing the mentality of this team here with this type of defence.  I have been vocal about Green being fired after blowning 6-3 lead against Pittsburgh.  Apparently that they haven't learn anything about what it takes to play a NHL game by game over a long season yet.  They are young but they shouldn't be this way with Petterson being 200 foot guy.   It can only wear out guys and Boeser is not cutting it these days and he might be still hampered from a serious injury that might takes 2 years to complete recover from and this March will be two years.   Boeser's skating needs a lot of improvement for him to be effective.

We should also be a far better team that our record shows, but we're not.
If this goes on for another week or two, expect big changes.

Nope, we're definitely not a far better team then our record shows.

Vegas forwards >> Our forwards and it's not even close.
Vegas defense > Our defense

Vegas goaltending = Our goaltending

Vegas has Reaves that makes everyone on our team scared to hit them except for Fantenburg, Motte and Roussel.

AV was never a problem and remains a great coach today..ask Philly fans ....Gillis fired him to extend his own life

WD and TG were non nhl coaches and have proven to be incompetent at the NHL level

The team has taken on the personality of the coach, no emotion whatsoever.

They fall behind 4 -1 and quickly get hemmed in their own zone for most of the rest of the period, unacceptable.

Kumbaya hockey is hard to watch.

I've said this before on this GDT and I'm going to say it again. Emotional coaching is not always the answer.

I said these exact same things when AV's time with the Canucks was coming to an end and we ended up with Torts.

Just sayin.

The gm has added quality vets and some very good young talent.

To see the same inadequate play and results is uacceptable.  This team is not playing any better than the past 4 years.  .

The gm has added players doesn’t mean he’s added the right ones that fit. Builders know who to add not just vets and names. JB just adds positions. Look how many don’t fit or have no real role.

How many mulligan coaching changes does he get.
