JV an LE in the lineup is making a bit of of a difference. 
Sutter on the pp is not a good idea. Is TT hurt, or just sitting.?

I agree not ideal, but they need someone to take draws. If he's a netfront presence that's fine. Keep the puck in the hands of Jake/Pears/the defense.

 

Millers an effective centre, and a bonus is hes not slower than a DHL truck going up the Big White hill

It must be. Hughes seems to be unsure at times because of lack of time and space he used to have in the regular season. He'll find a way just like Petey -- hopefully sooner than later.

sloppy play, for sure, but you're right, they're playing with some balls and urgency.  I don't think it's going to matter, as Minny just looks like they're a playoff team, but it's certainly nice to see after game 1

Really? I thought Minny was the better team in literally every aspect.
The puck was in the Canucks zone most of the period, including with the Canucks' PP. lol.

Canucks got a lucky goal and it was pretty much all Minny after that.

They should try swapping Jake in the middle 6 for Roussel/Eriksson. That third line especially needs more speed.

 

Minnesota is trying to put us in quicksand, if we are already slow it's just playing into there hand.

To me, boeser looks to be one of our more dangerous players. Hes had more chances than Miller and Horvat.

Canucks win during regular season by outworking other teams when have off nites ....doesn't happen in playoffs.

 

Or when Markstrom completely outplays other goalie.

 

This has been a complete mismatch vs a very middle of the road team.
