Reminds me of Edmonton back in the day. You can't expect all the kids to carry your team to success. Edmonton was absolutely stacked on forwards at one point (probably the best forward group to exist in the last decade) but had absolutely nobody that wanted to defend.

I sure miss Gary Thorne. Imagine if he came back to call the finals, that would be electric.

Oh yah I love those guys Shorty I believe is objectively in the top 5 play by play announcers, but Sportsnet underrates him so much they have other inferior guys do national games.  However Gord and Chris are world class.

Id love to know why they consistently $&!# the bed in the second period. It's baffling to me. Are the shifts too long? Too short? Refs call more penalties in the second making PK harder? What is going on?! Ahhh
