Let's have some fun with this, shall we? Perhaps some fun delusional positivity talk. We'll be focussing on our most immediate competitors.

Calgary sits at 39 percent (with 3 games in hand). Edmonton at 75 percent (2 games in hand), and Montreal at 93 (5 games in hand).

In all seriousness if Demko carries us to the playoffs I’m getting a tattoo of his face.

I misread this badly. I was like, why would you get a face tattoo of Demko? Ballsy. ;)

Calgary sits at 37.5 (with 3 games in hand). Edmonton at 76.9 (2 games in hand), and Montreal at 91.6 (5 games in hand).

Toronto's feeling really safe at this point, and rightfully so. It seems we must cheer for Toronto/Ottawa to win their games (except against us), for us to get a shot of making the playoffs. Therefore, tonight's game is a MUST WIN for Vancouver.

Last 10 game trends: Montreal is 2-4-4. Calgary is 4-5-1. Neither of them are doing too hot. Although Edmonton is 6-4-0, they've lost their last three.

Tonight (6th): Calgary vs Edmonton and  Jets vs Canadiens, If I'm not mistaken (and correct me if I'm wrong), it would be ideal for us to cheer for Edmonton AND Winnipeg to win (ideally in regulation). The logic is that Winnipeg can slow down Montreal, and Edmonton will slow down Calgary.

I think this will be a fun way to watch the season. Worst case is that we'll miss the playoffs and get a decently high pick. Win-win.

Focus on one game at a time.
