Some had the rainbow wrapped up on the shaft of the stick and not on the blade.

 They should play with them like that and see if it throws of the WPG goalie.

Might work. A dude in sjs did it one game and was too lazy to retape his stick after pregame and then ended up scoring. He's been rocking it ever since
