Get those two to unretire for the next five years playing third line minutes.

MILLER - HORVAT - BOESER

GARLAND - PETTERSSON - PODKOLZIN

D. SEDIN - H. SEDIN - HÖGLANDER

DOWLING - DICKINSON - MOTTE

Instant depth.

Would be nice in theory, but the twins are no longer “the twins” just like Joe Thornton is no longer prime Joe Thornton.  Father Time is undefeated.  I’m almost 41 and wanted to watch Ghostbusters Afterlife for the 10:00 Pm showing but was too tired to go.  This would have been unheard from me back in 2011.

They're probably still better conditioned than some of the guys on the team tbh

No doubt, even at 41. Still, I think they'd probably be slow and maybe also too weak to play in the NHL at this point without further training. I think they focus a lot more on cardio fitness now than muscles as they did in the NHL.

Yeaaaah, I know. It's still crazy to think about though. They're probably in better shape than Pettersson or Boeser, even at 41.

But yeah, the muscle and bulk required to play at an NHL level is tough to sustain even when you're a player. There's no way they could play anything more than shimmy at this point, at least not without putting in a lot of work. I don't doubt they could still play pro somewhere if they really wanted to, but Sweden would be more likely than the NHL at this point.

Agreed. Nobody could shimmy like these two!
