Had to chuckle a bit at a headline from a Steve Simmons article, stating that the Leafs need to be "more desperate team" in game seven.....

 

One could argue that "desperation" (in the form of some overzealous forechecking by Alex Kerfoot) is what cost the Leafs game six....

 

I'm trying to think of a worse reporter than Simmons and I'm coming up empty. (remember SS was the guy who basically fabricated the Phil Kessel hot dog "story")

Lol I think a lot of people agree with you

 

Oh well just a thought I've been having lately. Definitely feels like Canadian teams have it rougher than the American ones and the cup constantly being won by them is lame. When our team isn't in it at all and there is no impact on Van, just felt like it make sense to support other Canadian teams.

Like if we are talking about hated teams, I struggle to understand Canucks fans not hating Boston. Especially the current group.

Hoping the leafs go up by 3 or 4 early so they can choke in the the third period.

Tampa sound ready to business, they're still in their prime and have played so much clutch hockey the last few years. I really do hope the Leafs choke and lose this one too and we see some massive changes in their organization. That being said, Matthews and Marner are scoring well at the moment.

 

I think Tampa get out to an early lead, the Maple Leafs tie it with some PP goals but eventually Tampa's going to break them in the 3rd with some clutch goals, probably by a 2nd and 3rd liner.
