SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Looks like Pettersson just got another assist. I'll try to post video if available. SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
So now up to 5 points (with a period left to play) in 7 games. Excellent SHL numbers for a player Pettersson's age. Pettersson picked up another assist (3 total), so he's at 6 points in 7 SHL games.

48MPHSlapShot
Awesome. Getting that PPG average back up Now all he has to do is score. Edited October 13, 2017 by 48MPHSlapShot
Popular Post SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
Is it just me, or are prospects game days just a heck of a lot more fun and interesting this year? Not just Pettersson (although clearly he's exciting to watch), but the whole pool, including both the "darlings" and the "dark horses." Obviously part of this is the fact the main team isn't winning. And that our prospect group is among the best in the league. But honestly, I sometimes find myself looking forward to weekends like this one (where a slate of a dozen or more prospects have games) more than I get excited for Canucks game days.
Fantomex
Interesting interview with Jim on TSN1040. He mentions he knew they would get either a PP d-man or a #1 Center. Mentions when the PP d-man was taken at 4 he keyed in on Pettersson. Cale Makar was picked at 4... I wonder what direction Jim would have gone if they were both available at 5.

Those three highlights pretty much settle it... Pettersson is a future 1st PP kinda guy. Those are the little moves that buy you time and space with the man advantage. Whether he plays centre in the NHL remains to be seen, but that is not somebody I'd keep off the powerplay, regardless of the unit. Man oh man, Juolevi to Stecher to Pettersson to Boeser on the open wing, with Gadj in front of the net???

So nice to see Lind outplaying Cody though!
